🧀🍞 Cheese Bread (Soft, Fluffy & Cheesy)

Cheese bread is soft bread filled or topped with melted cheese—crispy on the outside, gooey inside, and perfect as a snack or side.


🧾 Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup warm milk (or water)
  • 2 tbsp oil or melted butter

🧀 Filling/Topping

  • 1–1 1/2 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1 tbsp butter (for brushing)
  • Optional: garlic powder, herbs, chili flakes

🍳 Instructions

1. Make dough

  1. Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt
  2. Add warm milk and oil
  3. Knead until smooth (8–10 minutes)
  4. Cover and let rise for 1 hour

2. Shape & fill

  • Divide dough into pieces
  • Flatten each piece
  • Add cheese in the center
  • Seal into balls or fold into a loaf

3. Bake

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
  • Place dough on baking tray
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden

4. Finish

  • Brush with melted butter
  • Sprinkle herbs or garlic powder (optional)

💡 Tips

  • Don’t overfill or cheese may leak
  • Let dough rise properly for soft texture
  • Use a mix of cheeses for better flavor
