Ham and Swiss biscuit sliders

Posted on April 1, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for Ham and Swiss Biscuit Sliders—perfect for parties, brunch, or a quick snack. Soft biscuits, savory ham, and melty Swiss cheese make them irresistible.

Ingredients (Makes 12 sliders)

  • 12 small biscuit dough pieces (store-bought or homemade)
  • 12 slices deli ham
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese (cut in half to fit sliders)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp poppy seeds (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven according to biscuit dough package instructions (usually 350–375°F / 175–190°C).
  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.

2. Assemble Sliders

  1. Slice biscuits horizontally if using larger ones, or use small biscuits as-is.
  2. Place bottom halves (or whole small biscuits) in the baking dish.
  3. Layer each with a slice of ham and a piece of Swiss cheese.
  4. Top with the other half of the biscuit.

3. Prepare Topping

  • Mix melted butter, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
  • Brush generously over the tops of the biscuits.
  • Sprinkle poppy seeds on top if desired.

4. Bake

  • Bake 15–20 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and cheese is melted.
  • Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end for extra golden tops.

5. Serve

  • Serve warm, straight from the pan.
  • Great with a side of pickles, chips, or a light salad.

Tips

  • Make-ahead: Assemble the sliders, cover with foil, and refrigerate until ready to bake.
  • Cheese variation: Try cheddar, provolone, or Gruyère for a different flavor.
  • Extra flavor: Add a thin slice of pickle or a smear of honey mustard inside each slider.

If you want, I can also give a “mini ham and Swiss sliders with caramelized onions” version that’s extra fancy and party-ready.

Do you want me to do that?
