Pork chop

Posted on March 29, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a simple, juicy, and flavorful pork chop recipe that works for pan-searing, baking, or grilling:

Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

  • 2–4 pork chops (bone-in or boneless, about 1-inch thick)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika (smoked or sweet)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme
  • Optional: 1/2 lemon for squeezing

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pork chops
    • Pat the chops dry.
    • Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Cook the chops
    • Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Sear chops 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. Add garlic and herbs
    • Add minced garlic and herbs during the last 1–2 minutes. Spoon pan juices over the chops for extra flavor.
  4. Check doneness
    • Internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  5. Rest and serve
    • Let rest 3–5 minutes before serving.
    • Optional: squeeze lemon over the top for added freshness.

Tips

  • Avoid overcooking—pork chops can become dry quickly.
  • Brining for 30 minutes in salted water can make them extra juicy.
  • Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a salad for a complete meal.

I can also give a one-pan garlic butter pork chop with potatoes recipe that’s done in under 30 minutes with minimal cleanup and maximum flavor.
