🥜 Peanut Sauce

A rich, creamy, slightly sweet and savory sauce popular in Southeast Asian dishes—perfect for dipping, noodles, grilled meats, or salads.

🥣 Ingredients

  • ½ cup peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
  • 1–2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lime or lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp honey or sugar
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • ½ tsp chili flakes or chili paste (optional)
  • ½–1 cup warm water or coconut milk (to thin)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Mix base
In a bowl, combine peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, honey, and garlic.
  2. Adjust consistency
Gradually add warm water or coconut milk, whisking until smooth and pourable.
  3. Add heat
Stir in chili flakes or paste if you like spice.
  4. Taste & adjust
Balance flavors—more lime for tang, soy for salt, or honey for sweetness.

🍽️ How to Use

  • Dip for spring rolls or chicken skewers
  • Drizzle over noodles or stir-fries
  • Sauce for grilled chicken or satay
  • Salad dressing (thin it more)

🔥 Tips

  • Warm water helps the sauce blend smoothly
  • Coconut milk makes it richer and more authentic
  • Add ginger for extra depth
  • Store in fridge up to 4–5 days (stir before using)

If you want, I can show you a Thai-style peanut sauce or a spicy satay version like restaurants use 😄
