Ingredients:

  • 2–3 lbs (900–1350 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 packet (1 oz / 28 g) ranch seasoning mix (optional, for flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (10.5 oz / 300 g) cream of chicken soup or mushroom soup
  • Optional: 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the chicken:
    • Place chicken in the slow cooker. Season with ranch seasoning (if using), garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the creamy mixture:
    • In a bowl, mix cream cheese and soup until smooth. Pour over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  3. Cook:
    • Low for 6–7 hours or High for 3–4 hours, until chicken is fully cooked and tender.

    • Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker and mix with the creamy sauce.
    • Sprinkle cheese on top and cook for an additional 10–15 minutes until melted.
  5. Serve:
