Chicken Thighs

Here’s a simple, juicy, and flavorful way to make chicken thighs—crispy on the outside, tender inside:


🍗 Garlic Herb Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

  • 4–6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (boneless works too)
  • 2 tablespoons oil or melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (thyme or oregano)
  • Salt & pepper to taste

🍳 Instructions (Oven Method)

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
  2. Season
    Pat chicken dry. Rub with oil, then coat with garlic powder, paprika, herbs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Bake
    Place on a baking sheet (skin-side up). Bake for 35–45 minutes until crispy and cooked through.
  4. Optional crisp boost
    Broil for 2–3 minutes at the end for extra crispiness.

🔥 Alternative Cooking Methods

  • Pan-seared: Cook skin-side down 6–7 mins, flip, cook another 6–8 mins
  • Air fryer: 375°F (190°C) for 18–22 minutes
  • Slow cooker: Low 6 hours (won’t be crispy but very tender)

🍽️ Flavor Variations

  • Honey Garlic: Add honey + soy sauce + garlic
  • Spicy: Add chili powder or cayenne
  • Lemon Herb: Add lemon juice + zest

  • Bone-in + skin-on = more flavor and juiciness
  • Let rest 5 minutes before serving
