🥔 Classic Potato Pancakes Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 medium potatoes (peeled and grated)
  • 1 small onion (grated)
  • 1 egg
  • 2–3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Prepare potatoes:
    Grate the potatoes and squeeze out excess water using a clean cloth or paper towel.
  2. Mix ingredients:
    In a bowl, combine grated potatoes, onion, egg, flour, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
  3. Heat oil:
    Add a few tablespoons of oil to a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Form pancakes:
    Take spoonfuls of the potato mixture and flatten slightly in the pan.
  5. Fry:
    Cook for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  6. Drain & serve:
    Place cooked pancakes on paper towels to remove excess oil. Serve hot.

  • Squeeze out excess water for crispier pancakes
