🧈 Drop Biscuits (Soft & Fluffy)
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
- ½ cup (115 g) cold butter (cubed)
- ¾–1 cup milk
Instructions:
- Preheat oven
200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray. - Mix dry ingredients
In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. - Cut in butter
Add cold butter and rub it into the flour with your fingers until crumbly. - Add milk
Pour in milk gradually and mix just until a soft dough forms (don’t overmix). - Drop onto tray
Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto the tray (rustic shapes are perfect). - Bake
Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden on top.
