🥕🌽 Carrot & Corn Mush

Ingredients:

  • 2 carrots (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 cup corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup milk (or water for lighter version)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Optional: a little sugar (for sweetness)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the veggies
    Boil or steam carrots and corn until very soft (10–15 minutes).
  2. Mash or blend
    Drain and mash with a fork or blend for a smoother texture.
  3. Add richness
    Return to a pan, add butter and milk. Stir on low heat.
  4. Season
    Add salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar if you like it slightly sweet.
  5. Adjust texture
    Add more milk if needed to get a soft, creamy “mush.”

  • Add a small potato for extra creaminess.
  • Mix in a bit of cream or cheese for richer flavor.
  • For a savory twist, add garlic or a pinch of cumin.
