Here’s a classic and refreshing Waldorf Salad recipe — crisp, sweet, and creamy.


🥗 Waldorf Salad

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

  • 2 cups chopped apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1 cup seedless grapes, halved (red or green)
  • 1 cup celery, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup walnuts, chopped and toasted (optional)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt (for a lighter version)
  • 1–2 tsp lemon juice (to prevent apples from browning)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: ¼ cup chopped dried cranberries or raisins

1️⃣ Prepare Ingredients

  • Chop apples, celery, and halve grapes.
  • Toss apples with lemon juice to keep them from browning.
  • Toast walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes if using.

2️⃣ Make Dressing

  • In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt) with a pinch of salt and pepper.

3️⃣ Assemble Salad

  • In a large bowl, combine apples, grapes, celery, walnuts, and optional dried fruit.
  • Add dressing and gently toss until everything is coated evenly.

4️⃣ Serve

  • Chill for 30 minutes for best flavor.
