🍦 Vanilla Ice Cream

Vanilla ice cream is a classic frozen dessert made with cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla. It’s smooth, creamy, and works as a base for sundaes, milkshakes, and desserts.


🧾 Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • ¾ cup sugar

1. Mix base

  • In a bowl, whisk milk, sugar, salt, and vanilla until sugar dissolves

2. Add cream

  • Pour in heavy cream and mix well

3. Chill

  • Refrigerate for 2–4 hours until very cold

4. Freeze

  • Pour into a container and freeze
  • Stir every 30–45 minutes for the first 3 hours (helps keep it creamy)

🍮 Custard-Style (Extra Creamy Version):

1. Heat mixture

  • Warm milk + sugar in a pan (don’t boil)

2. Temper eggs

  • Slowly add hot milk into egg yolks while whisking

3. Cook

  • Return to low heat until slightly thickened

4. Add cream + vanilla

  • Cool completely, then freeze or churn

🍽️ Serving Ideas:

  • With brownies or cake 🍰
  • In milkshakes or floats 🥤
  • Topped with chocolate syrup 🍫
  • With fruit like mango or strawberries 🍓

🔥 Tips:

  • Use full-fat cream for best texture
  • Keep mixture very cold before freezing
  • Vanilla bean gives stronger, richer flavor
  • Avoid ice crystals by stirring during freezing
