🌯 Ground Beef Tortilla Wraps

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4–6 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a mix)
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, sour cream, salsa, avocado

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Ground Beef

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned.
  • Drain excess fat if necessary.

2️⃣ Add Aromatics and Spices

  • Add onion and garlic to the skillet; sauté 2–3 minutes until softened.
  • Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook 2 more minutes to let the spices bloom.

3️⃣ Assemble the Wraps

  • Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for a few seconds.
  • Spoon ground beef mixture onto the center of each tortilla.
  • Sprinkle with shredded cheese and add optional toppings.

4️⃣ Roll and Serve

  • Fold in sides and roll tightly.
  • Serve immediately with extra salsa or sour cream.
