Tortilla wraps with ground beef

Posted on January 28, 2026 by Admin

Perfect! Ground beef tortilla wraps are quick, versatile, and delicious. Here’s a simple recipe you can follow:

Ingredients (makes 4 wraps)

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder (optional for a little spice)
  • 1 tsp paprika or smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, sour cream, salsa, guacamole

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef:
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Add flavor:
Add chopped onion, garlic, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook 3–5 minutes until the onions are soft and fragrant.
  3. Warm the tortillas:
Heat tortillas in a dry skillet for 20–30 seconds per side or wrap in foil and warm in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5–10 minutes.
  4. Assemble the wraps:
Spoon the beef mixture onto each tortilla. Top with shredded cheese and any other desired toppings.
  5. Fold and serve:
Fold the sides of the tortilla in, then roll it up tightly. Serve immediately.

💡 Tips:

  • For a crunch, lightly toast the assembled wraps in a skillet for 1–2 minutes per side.
  • You can add beans, corn, or bell peppers to the beef mixture for extra flavor and texture.

If you want, I can also give a super quick 10-minute version for busy nights.

Do you want me to do that?
