Easy Taco Cupcakes Recipe

🧾 Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or chicken)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 24 wonton wrappers (or biscuit dough rounds)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • ½ cup salsa
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomatoes, olives, jalapeños

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the meat in a pan until browned. Add taco seasoning and a little water; simmer for 3–5 minutes.
  3. Prepare muffin tin: Spray a muffin pan with cooking spray.
  4. Layer the cupcakes:
    • Place one wonton wrapper in each muffin cup.
    • Add a spoon of taco meat.
    • Sprinkle cheese.
    • Add another wrapper on top.
    • Add more meat and cheese.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes until edges are crispy and golden.
  6. Top with salsa, sour cream, lettuce, or tomatoes.
