🥩 Garlic Butter Steak Bites

⏱️ Time

🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or strip), cut into 1–2 inch cubes
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)

🔥 Instructions

  1. Pat steak cubes dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add steak cubes in a single layer (cook in batches if necessary). Sear 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove from pan.
  4. Lower heat to medium. Add butter, garlic, and thyme/rosemary. Sauté 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Return steak bites to the skillet, toss in garlic butter for 1–2 minutes.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with extra herbs if desired.

  • Spicy: Sprinkle with red pepper flakes or smoked paprika.
  • With onions & mushrooms: Sauté mushrooms and onions after searing steak for a hearty skillet meal.
  • Saucy option: Deglaze pan with ¼ cup beef broth, Worcestershire, or balsamic vinegar for a light sauce.
  • Quick marinade: 1 tbsp soy sauce + 1 tsp olive oil + garlic powder for extra flavor before cooking.
