Garlic Butter Steak Bites

Ingredients (serves 2–4)

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or strip), cut into 1–2 inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh parsley or thyme for garnish

Instructions

1. Prep Steak

  • Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels (dry = better sear).
  • Season generously with salt and pepper.

2. Sear Steak

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
  • Add steak cubes in a single layer (don’t crowd the pan).
  • Sear 2–3 minutes per side until a brown crust forms. Remove steak and set aside.

3. Garlic Butter

  • Reduce heat to medium.
  • Add butter and garlic to the pan, cook 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
  • Return steak to skillet and toss in garlic butter to coat.

4. Serve

  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley or thyme.
  • Serve immediately with mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or over salad.

Pro Tips

  • High heat = caramelized crust. Don’t overcrowd the pan; do batches if needed.
  • Rest the steak 2–3 min before serving for juicier bites.
  • Add a splash of Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce to the butter for extra umami.
