Posted on February 26, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a quick and flavorful Steak and Shrimp Stir-Fry recipe — tender steak, juicy shrimp, and crisp vegetables tossed in a savory sauce.

🥩🍤 Steak & Shrimp Stir-Fry

Ingredients (Serves 2–3)

Protein:

  • 8 oz sirloin steak, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 8 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1–2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp cornstarch (optional, for a light coating)

Vegetables:

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced

Stir-Fry Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil, divided
  • Cooked rice or noodles, for serving

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep Protein

  • Toss steak and shrimp with 1–2 tbsp soy sauce and cornstarch. Set aside.

2️⃣ Cook Steak

  • Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  • Sear steak 2–3 minutes until browned but not fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

3️⃣ Cook Shrimp

  • In the same skillet, add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.

4️⃣ Stir-Fry Vegetables

  • Add remaining oil, then sauté garlic and ginger 30 seconds.
  • Add broccoli, bell peppers, and onion. Stir-fry 3–4 minutes until crisp-tender.

5️⃣ Combine & Sauce

  • Return steak and shrimp to the skillet.
  • Pour in stir-fry sauce and toss everything together 1–2 minutes until evenly coated and heated through.

6️⃣ Serve

  • Serve immediately over steamed rice or noodles.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired.

Tips & Variations

  • Vegetables: Snow peas, carrots, or zucchini also work well.
  • Heat: Add sriracha or chili paste for a spicier version.
  • One-Pan Shortcut: Cook all protein first, set aside, then stir-fry vegetables in the same pan for maximum flavor.

I can also give you a teriyaki-style steak and shrimp stir-fry with a sweeter, sticky sauce if you want a slightly different flavor profile.

Do you want me to provide that version?
