Spare ribs

Gotcha — let’s keep it simple and classic.

🍖 Baked Spare Ribs (Tender + Sticky)

Ingredients

  • 3–4 lb pork spare ribs
  • Salt & black pepper

Sauce

  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  3. Season ribs with salt & pepper.
  4. Wrap tightly in foil and place on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake 2½–3 hours until very tender.
  6. Mix sauce ingredients.
  7. Unwrap ribs, brush with sauce.
  8. Increase oven to 400°F (205°C).
  9. Bake uncovered 20–25 minutes, flipping once and basting, until caramelized.
