Ingredients
- 3–4 lb pork spare ribs
- Salt & pepper
Sweet & Sour Sauce
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup ketchup
- ½ cup rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
- 1 tsp ginger (optional but 🔥)
🔥 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Remove membrane from back of ribs (important for tenderness).
- Season ribs with salt & pepper.
- Wrap ribs tightly in foil and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake 2½–3 hours until ribs are tender.
- Mix all sauce ingredients.
- Unwrap ribs, brush generously with sauce.
- Increase oven to 400°F (205°C).
- Bake uncovered 20–30 minutes, flipping and brushing with more sauce until sticky and caramelized.
