Slow cooker ribs

  4. Cook: Low 7–8 hours or High 4–5 hours until tender.
  5. Optional: Broil ribs 3–5 minutes with remaining BBQ sauce for a caramelized top.

🥩 Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp ketchup (optional)
  • 2 tbsp flour or cornstarch (for thickening)
  • Sliced mushrooms (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Form into 4–6 patties.
  2. Place patties in the slow cooker, layer with mushrooms if using.
  3. Mix beef broth and ketchup; pour over patties.
  4. Cook: Low 6–7 hours or High 3–4 hours.
  5. Optional: Thicken sauce by mixing 2 tbsp flour/cornstarch with ¼ cup water, stir in, and cook 15 more minutes.

Serving Ideas:

  • Over mashed potatoes or rice
  • With roasted vegetables
  • With green beans or corn
