🍖 Slow Cooker Ribs (Fall-Off-the-Bone Easy)
Tender, juicy ribs with minimal effort — perfect when you don’t want to fire up the grill.

- 2–3 lbs baby back ribs or St. Louis–style ribs
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite)
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp chili powder (optional for heat)
🔥 Instructions
- Prep ribs:
- Remove membrane from the back of the ribs (use a knife to loosen, then pull off).
- Cut racks into sections to fit your slow cooker.
- Season:
Mix brown sugar and spices. Rub generously over both sides of ribs. - Add to slow cooker:
Stand ribs upright along the sides (meat side facing out if possible).
Brush with half the BBQ sauce. - Cook:
- Low: 7–8 hours
- High: 4–5 hours
(Ribs are done when very tender but not falling apart completely.)
- Finish for caramelized top (recommended):
- Preheat oven broiler.
- Transfer ribs to baking sheet.
- Brush with remaining BBQ sauce.
- Broil 3–5 minutes until bubbly and slightly charred.
