  1. Place sliced onions (and optional vegetables) at the bottom.
  2. Layer cube steaks on top.

3. Cook

  • Cover and cook on:

    • High: 3–4 hours

  • Remove steaks and vegetables.
  • Thicken the remaining liquid with a slurry of 1–2 tbsp flour or cornstarch + cold water over medium heat until desired consistency.

5. Serve

  • Serve cube steak and gravy over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.
