Here’s a simple Slow Cooker Banana Bread recipe 🍌
Moist, tender, and no oven needed.


Slow Cooker Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (or brown sugar)
  • ¼ cup melted butter (or oil)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • ½ cup nuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare slow cooker
    Lightly grease the slow cooker insert or line with parchment paper.
  2. Mix wet ingredients
    In a bowl, mash bananas. Stir in sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Add dry ingredients
    Mix in flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon until just combined. Fold in add-ins if using.
  4. Cook
    Pour batter into slow cooker.
    Cover with the lid slightly ajar (or place a paper towel under the lid to absorb moisture).
  5. Cook on HIGH for 2–2½ hours, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
  6. Cool
    Let rest 10–15 minutes before lifting out and slicing.

Tips & Variations

  • Extra moist: Add ¼ cup sour cream or yogurt
  • Healthier: Use half whole wheat flour
  • Banana nut: Add walnuts or pecans
  • Chocolate banana: Add chocolate chips 🍫
