  • 2 cups cooked pasta (elbow macaroni, rotini, or shells)
    OR 3 cups frozen tater tots
  • 1½–2 cups shredded cheddar or Colby-Jack cheese
  • Salt & pepper to taste

  1. Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Grease a 9Γ—13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook 3–4 minutes until softened.
  4. Stir in Sloppy Joe sauce; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Assemble casserole:
    • Pasta version: Mix cooked pasta into the meat mixture and spread in the dish.
    • Tater tot version: Spread meat mixture in the dish, top evenly with tots.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted and golden.
