π Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced (optional)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1Β½ cups Sloppy Joe sauce (Manwich or homemade)
- 2 cups cooked pasta (elbow macaroni or rotini)
OR 3 cups frozen tater tots - 1Β½β2 cups shredded cheddar or Colby-Jack cheese
- Salt & pepper to taste

- Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Grease a 9Γ13 baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess grease.
- Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook 3β4 minutes until softened.
- Stir in Sloppy Joe sauce; season with salt & pepper.
- Assemble:
- Pasta version: Stir cooked pasta into the meat mixture, then spread into dish.
- Tater tot version: Spread meat mixture into dish, top evenly with tots.
- Sprinkle cheese over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 25β30 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.
- Let rest 5 minutes, then serve.

- Biscuit topping: Add quartered canned biscuits instead of pasta/tots.
