Here’s a simple, flavorful Shrimp Pasta recipe — creamy, garlicky, and ready in about 20–25 minutes. 🍤🍝

🍤 Creamy Garlic Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

  • 8 oz (225 g) pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or fettuccine)
  • 1 lb (450 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for a little heat)
  • ½ cup chicken broth or white wine
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Pasta

  • Boil pasta according to package directions until al dente.
  • Drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.

2️⃣ Cook the Shrimp

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Season shrimp with salt and pepper.
  • Cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.

3️⃣ Make the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, melt butter.
  • Add garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté 1–2 minutes.
  • Pour in chicken broth (or wine) and simmer 2 minutes.
  • Stir in cream, then Parmesan cheese, and cook until slightly thickened.
  • Add lemon juice and adjust seasoning.

4️⃣ Combine

  • Toss pasta and shrimp in the sauce.
  • Use reserved pasta water to thin the sauce if needed.

5️⃣ Serve

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan.
  • Serve immediately with a side of garlic bread or salad.

Tips

  • Add spinach or cherry tomatoes for extra color and flavor.
  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
  • A splash of white wine adds depth to the sauce.

I can also give you a one-pan shrimp pasta version that cooks everything together in under 20 minutes if you want a faster meal.
