Here’s how to make soft, fluffy scrambled eggs (plus options if you like them creamy or fully cooked).


Perfect Scrambled Eggs

Ingredients (serves 1–2)

  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk or cream (optional, for softness)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Whisk the eggs:
    • Crack eggs into a bowl.
    • Add milk (if using), salt, and pepper.
    • Whisk until fully blended and slightly frothy.
  2. Heat the pan:
    • Place a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat.
    • Add butter and let it melt without browning.
  3. Cook gently:
    • Pour eggs into the pan.
    • Let sit for a few seconds, then gently stir with a spatula, pushing eggs from the edges toward the center.
  4. Finish cooking:
    • Continue stirring slowly until eggs are just set but still soft and slightly glossy.
  5. Serve immediately:
    • Eggs continue cooking off the heat, so don’t overcook!

  • Low heat = creamy eggs
  • Stir slowly for big, fluffy curds
  • Remove from heat while slightly underdone
