Sausage and Potato Skillet

Here’s a hearty and easy Sausage and Potato Skillet — perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. 🥔🌭🍳


Ingredients (serves 2–3)

  • 4 Sausages (pork, chicken, or your favorite type), sliced into 1–2 cm pieces
  • 4 medium Potatoes, diced into small cubes
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 1 Bell Pepper, diced (optional)
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil or butter
  • ½ tsp Paprika
  • Salt & Black Pepper to taste
  • Optional garnish: Parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the potatoes
    • Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Add diced potatoes and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
    • Cook, stirring occasionally, until golden and tender (about 15 minutes). Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Cook the sausage
    • In the same skillet, add another 1 tbsp olive oil if needed.
    • Add sliced sausages and cook until browned and heated through (about 5–7 minutes).
  3. Sauté vegetables
    • Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until softened (3–4 minutes).
  4. Combine & finish
    • Return the cooked potatoes to the skillet and toss everything together.
    • Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve
    • Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot as is, or with eggs for breakfast.

Tips

  • Use small, uniform potato cubes so they cook evenly.
  • Add a pinch of chili flakes or smoked paprika for extra flavor.
  • For a one-pan meal, top with a fried or scrambled egg.
