Here are some delicious ways to cook and serve sausage, plus great side dish ideas.


🌭 Simple Pan-Fried Sausage

🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 lb sausage links or patties (pork, beef, turkey, or smoked)
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tsp oil (if needed)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Place sausages in a skillet and add ½ cup water.
2️⃣ Cover and cook over medium heat for 5–7 minutes (this helps cook them through).
3️⃣ Remove lid and let water evaporate.
4️⃣ Add a little oil if needed and brown sausages 3–5 minutes, turning until golden and fully cooked (internal temp 160°F for pork/beef, 165°F for poultry).


🔥 Other Easy Ways to Cook Sausage

  • Oven: Bake at 400°F for 20–25 minutes.
  • Grill: Medium heat, 10–15 minutes, turning often.
  • Air Fryer: 375°F for 9–12 minutes.
  • Slow Cooker (smoked sausage): Heat with BBQ sauce or peppers & onions for easy meals.
