🍤 Salmon-Stuffed Shrimp

Large shrimp stuffed with a flavorful salmon mixture, baked to perfection — elegant and perfect for dinner or special occasions.


🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined (leave tails on)
  • ½ lb (225 g) cooked salmon, flaked
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1–2 tbsp fresh parsley or dill, chopped
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
  • 1–2 tbsp melted butter or olive oil

🔥 Instructions

1️⃣ Prep shrimp

  • Make a slit along the back of each shrimp to create a pocket for stuffing.

2️⃣ Make stuffing

  • In a bowl, combine flaked salmon, cream cheese, mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.

3️⃣ Stuff shrimp

  • Fill each shrimp pocket with the salmon mixture.
  • Optionally, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for extra crunch.

4️⃣ Bake shrimp

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place stuffed shrimp on a greased baking sheet.
  • Drizzle with melted butter or olive oil.
  • Bake 12–15 minutes until shrimp are pink and cooked through.

5️⃣ Serve

  • Garnish with extra parsley or lemon wedges.
  • Serve as an appetizer or alongside rice, salad, or roasted vegetables.

  • Add a pinch of smoked paprika or cayenne for a spicy kick.
  • Mix grated Parmesan into the stuffing for extra flavor.
  • Try broiling 1–2 minutes at the end for a golden top.
