🥔 Potato Salad (Classic Creamy Style)
Potato salad is a cold, creamy side dish made with boiled potatoes, mayonnaise, and simple seasonings. It’s popular at barbecues, picnics, and family meals.
🧾 Ingredients
- 4–5 medium potatoes
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp mustard (optional)

- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice or vinegar

👨🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Boil the potatoes
- Peel and cut potatoes into cubes.
- Boil in salted water for 10–15 minutes until tender.
- Drain and let them cool completely.
2️⃣ Make the dressing
In a bowl mix:
- Mayonnaise
- Mustard
- Lemon juice or vinegar
- Salt & pepper
3️⃣ Combine ingredients
Add to the bowl:
- Boiled potatoes
- Onion or spring onion
- Pickles/cucumber
- Chopped boiled egg
Gently mix so the potatoes don’t break too much.
4️⃣ Chill
Refrigerate for 30–60 minutes before serving for best flavor.
