Pork chop

Posted on March 10, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a simple and flavorful way to make pork chops 🥩🍴 — juicy inside with a nice sear outside.

Ingredients

  • 2–4 pork chops (bone-in or boneless, about 1–1.5 cm thick)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or 2 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Fresh herbs (thyme or rosemary, optional)

Instructions

1. Prep the pork chops

  • Pat pork chops dry with a paper towel.
  • Season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

2. Sear the pork chops

  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add pork chops and cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.

3. Add butter and herbs

  • Reduce heat to medium.
  • Add butter and fresh herbs.
  • Spoon melted butter over the chops for 1–2 minutes to enhance flavor.

4. Check doneness

  • Internal temperature should reach 63°C (145°F).
  • Let pork chops rest for 3–5 minutes before serving.

Serving ideas

  • Serve with mashed potatoes 🥔, roasted vegetables 🥦, or a fresh salad 🥗.
  • Top with sautéed onions and mushrooms for extra flavor.

💡 Tips:

  • For extra juiciness, brine chops in saltwater for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan — sear in batches if needed.

I can also give you:

  • Oven-baked pork chops recipe
  • Honey garlic glazed pork chops
  • Crispy pan-fried pork chops like a restaurant style.

Do you want me to give the crispy pan-fried version?
