Here’s a simple, flavorful Pork Chop recipe that works whether you’re pan-searing or oven-baking. 🥩

Ingredients

  • 2–4 pork chops (1–1.5 inches thick, bone-in or boneless)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1–2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth (optional, for pan sauce)
  • Optional: fresh thyme or rosemary

Instructions

1. Prep the Pork Chops

  • Pat pork chops dry with paper towels.
  • Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

2. Sear the Chops

  • Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add pork chops and cook 3–5 minutes per side until golden brown.

3. Finish Cooking

  • Reduce heat to medium.
  • Add garlic and herbs to the pan.
  • Cook another 5–7 minutes until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

4. Optional Pan Sauce

  • Remove pork chops and let rest.
  • Pour chicken broth into the pan and scrape up browned bits.
  • Simmer 2–3 minutes and drizzle over chops.

5. Serve

  • Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a salad.

✅ Tip: Resting the pork chops 5 minutes before slicing keeps them juicy and tender.

If you like, I can give a crispy breaded version or a honey garlic glazed version that’s extra flavorful. Do you want me to?
