Here’s a classic Pork Chop recipe—juicy, flavorful, and easy to make at home. 🥩🍴

Ingredients

  • 2–4 pork chops (bone-in or boneless, 1–1.5 inches thick)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1–2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth (optional for pan sauce)
  • Optional: fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary

Instructions

1. Prepare the Pork Chops

  • Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel.
  • Season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

2. Sear the Chops

  • Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add pork chops and cook 3–5 minutes per side, until golden brown.

3. Cook Through

  • Reduce heat to medium.
  • Add garlic and herbs (if using) to the pan.
  • Continue cooking another 5–7 minutes, depending on thickness, until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

4. Optional Pan Sauce

  • Remove pork chops and let rest.
  • Add chicken broth to the pan, scraping up browned bits.
  • Simmer 2–3 minutes and pour over the chops.

5. Serve

  • Serve with mashed potatoes, vegetables, or rice.

✅ Tip: Let chops rest 5 minutes before slicing to keep them juicy.
