Here’s a fun and easy Pizza Bowls recipe—all the flavors of pizza in an individual, edible bowl! Perfect for parties or a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients (Makes 4–6 bowls)

For the Bowls:

  • 1 lb (450 g) pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)

For the Filling:

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara
  • 1–1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni, cooked sausage, or any toppings you like
  • 1/4 cup sliced olives, bell peppers, or mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning

Instructions

1. Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Prepare the Dough Bowls

  1. Roll pizza dough into a large rectangle or circle.
  2. Cut into 4–6 squares (depending on size you want).
  3. Gently press each dough square into a greased muffin tin cup to form a “bowl.”
  4. Brush edges with olive oil.

3. Par-Bake the Bowls

  • Bake the dough bowls for 7–10 minutes until slightly puffed but not fully golden. Remove from oven.

4. Fill the Bowls

  1. Spoon about 1–2 tbsp pizza sauce into each bowl.
  2. Add cheese and toppings of your choice.
  3. Sprinkle with dried oregano or Italian seasoning.

5. Bake Again

  • Return to the oven and bake 10–12 minutes until cheese melts and dough is golden brown.

6. Serve

  • Let cool for 2–3 minutes before removing from muffin tin.
  • Serve warm as a snack, appetizer, or mini meal.

💡 Tips:

  • Use thicker pizza dough so the bowls hold the filling well.
  • Customize toppings—vegetables, meats, or even a breakfast pizza bowl with eggs.
  • For extra crispiness, brush a little olive oil or garlic butter on edges before the second bake.
