Parmesan Brussels Sprouts

Posted on March 7, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a simple and delicious Parmesan Brussels Sprouts recipe—crispy, savory, and full of flavor. 🥬🧀

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: 1–2 tsp balsamic glaze for drizzling

Instructions

1. Preheat oven

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Prepare Brussels sprouts

  • Trim the stem ends and remove any yellow or damaged leaves.
  • Cut each sprout in half.

3. Season

  • Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).
  • Spread evenly on the baking sheet, cut side down.

4. Roast

  • Roast 20–25 minutes until golden brown and tender, stirring halfway through.

5. Add Parmesan

  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the Brussels sprouts and return to oven for 2–3 minutes until melted and slightly crispy.

6. Serve

  • Optional: drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving for a sweet tang.
  • Serve hot as a side dish with roasted meats, chicken, or pasta.

💡 Tips

  • For extra crispiness, broil for the last 1–2 minutes.
  • Add toasted pine nuts or chopped bacon for texture and flavor.
  • Substitute Parmesan with Pecorino Romano for a sharper taste.

If you want, I can also give a skillet version where Brussels sprouts are pan-fried with garlic and Parmesan—ready in about 15 minutes.

Do you want me to do that?
