Here’s a complete, hearty breakfast recipe for Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs, and Steak — a classic “steak and eggs” brunch with fluffy pancakes on the side.

🥞 Pancakes (Fluffy & Soft)

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 2–3)

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter (plus more for the pan)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  3. Pour wet ingredients into dry and stir until just combined (batter may be slightly lumpy).
  4. Heat a lightly buttered skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  5. Pour ¼ cup batter for each pancake. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until bubbles form and edges set.

🍳 Scrambled Eggs (Creamy & Soft)

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 2–3)

  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk or cream
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Heat butter in a skillet over medium-low heat.
  3. Pour in eggs and let sit 20–30 seconds.
  4. Gently stir with a spatula, forming soft curds.
  5. Remove from heat when slightly undercooked (eggs continue to cook off heat).

🥩 Steak (Pan-Seared)

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 1 lb (450g) steak (ribeye, sirloin, or your choice)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1–2 tsp oil
  • 1 tbsp butter (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Let steak come to room temperature. Pat dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear steak 3–5 minutes per side (depending on thickness and preferred doneness).
  4. Optional: In last 1–2 minutes, add butter and garlic, spooning melted butter over steak.
  5. Rest steak 5 minutes before slicing.

🍽 Serving

  • Serve sliced steak alongside scrambled eggs and a stack of pancakes.
  • Optional sides: maple syrup for pancakes, sautéed mushrooms, or breakfast potatoes.

🔥 Tips

  • Steak Doneness: Use a meat thermometer — 130°F for medium-rare, 140°F for medium.
  • Make Pancakes Ahead: Keep pancakes warm in a 200°F oven while cooking steak and eggs.
  • Extra Flavor: Add herbs (thyme or parsley) to eggs or steak butter.

If you want, I can give you a one-skillet version where you cook steak, eggs, and even pancakes in one pan to save time and cleanup.

Do you want me to do that?
