Oreo idli cake

Oreo Idli Cake is a super easy, no-oven dessert made with just a few ingredients—soft, chocolaty, and perfect for quick cravings 😋


🍫 Ingredients

  • 20–25 Oreo biscuits
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder (or ½ tsp ENO fruit salt)
  • 1–2 tbsp sugar (optional)

🍳 Method (Idli Steamer Version)

  1. Break the Oreo biscuits and grind them into a fine powder.
  2. Add milk gradually and mix to form a smooth batter (cake-like consistency).
  3. Add sugar if you want extra sweetness.
  4. Just before steaming, mix in baking powder or ENO and stir gently.
  5. Grease an idli plate or small bowl and pour the batter in.
  6. Steam in an idli cooker for 10–15 minutes on medium heat.
  7. Check with a toothpick—if it comes out clean, your cake is ready.

🍰 Serving Ideas

  • Let it cool slightly, then remove from mold
  • Top with chocolate syrup, cream, or crushed Oreos
  • Serve warm for best taste

💡 Tips

  • Don’t overmix after adding ENO—this keeps the cake soft & fluffy
