🥄 Ingredients (Makes 12–16 bars)
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup boiling water
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg

Place raisins in a bowl and pour boiling water over them. Let soak 10 minutes, then drain.
