🍖 Meat Chop (Pan-Seared Pork or Lamb Chops)

Juicy inside, golden crust outside — simple and flavorful.


🛒 Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

  • 4 pork chops or lamb chops
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed
  • Optional: fresh rosemary or thyme
  • Optional: squeeze of lemon

🔥 Pan-Seared Method (Best for Thick Chops)

1️⃣ Bring to room temp
Let chops sit out 20 minutes before cooking.

2️⃣ Season generously
Pat dry and season both sides.

3️⃣ Heat pan
Heat oil in skillet over medium-high until hot.

4️⃣ Sear
Cook 3–4 minutes per side (depending on thickness).
Don’t move them while searing.

5️⃣ Baste for flavor
Add butter, garlic, and herbs in last 1–2 minutes.
Spoon melted butter over chops.

6️⃣ Rest
Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

  • Pork: 145°F (63°C)
  • Lamb: 135°F (57°C) medium-rare

🔥 Oven Method (Thicker Chops)

  • Sear 2–3 minutes per side in skillet.
  • Finish in 400°F (200°C) oven for 6–10 minutes.
