These Loaded Cheesy Pocket Tacos are crispy, cheesy tortillas stuffed with seasoned beef and toppings—like a handheld taco pocket.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- ½ cup water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 6–8 flour tortillas
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup diced tomatoes
- ½ cup shredded lettuce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Cook the beef
In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat. - Add seasoning
Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until thick. - Fill the tortillas
Lay out tortillas. Add cooked beef and sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top. - Fold into pockets
Fold the tortillas over to form a pocket or half-moon shape. - Cook until crispy
Heat olive oil in a pan and cook each pocket 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy. - Add toppings
Open slightly and fill with lettuce, tomatoes, and sour cream.
