Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts or thighs (boneless or bone-in)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter, divided
- 4–5 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup chicken broth
- Juice of 1 large lemon
- Zest of 1 lemon (optional but amazing)
- 1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
- Optional: fresh parsley, red pepper flakes
Instructions
1️⃣ Season the chicken
- Pat chicken dry.
- Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
2️⃣ Sear
- Heat olive oil + 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the sauce
- In the same skillet, lower heat to medium.
- Add remaining butter and garlic; cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
