Hot Fudge Brownie Bread

Posted on February 28, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a rich, chocolatey Hot Fudge Brownie Bread recipe—moist like banana bread but fudgy like a brownie, with ribbons of hot fudge baked right in.

🍫 Hot Fudge Brownie Bread

Ingredients (1 loaf)

Dry:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Wet:

  • 1/2 cup melted butter (or oil)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk (or buttermilk for extra richness)

Add-ins:

  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce (plus extra for topping)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven:
Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients:
In a bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Mix wet ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in milk.
  4. Combine:
Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  5. Layer with fudge:
Pour half the batter into the loaf pan. Drizzle half the hot fudge over it and gently swirl with a knife. Add remaining batter and swirl in the remaining fudge.
  6. Bake:
Bake 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter).
  7. Cool & serve:
Let cool in pan 15 minutes before transferring to a rack. Drizzle extra warm hot fudge over slices when serving.

Tips & Variations

  • Extra fudgy: Slightly underbake by a few minutes.
  • Add nuts: Chopped walnuts or pecans add texture.
  • Ice cream pairing: Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for a brownie sundae vibe.
  • Espresso boost: Add 1 tsp instant espresso powder to enhance chocolate flavor.

This bread is dense, chocolatey, and indulgent—perfect for dessert or a sweet snack.

If you’d like, I can also give you a boxed brownie mix shortcut version that’s even easier.
