Here’s a quick, flavorful Honey Garlic Shrimp, Sausage & Broccoli skillet — savory, sweet, and perfect for a weeknight dinner 🍤🥦🌭

🍤 Honey Garlic Shrimp, Sausage & Broccoli

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz smoked sausage (kielbasa or andouille), sliced into coins
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter

Honey Garlic Sauce

  • ⅓ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce (low-sodium)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (or rice vinegar)
  • 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (slurry, optional for thicker sauce)
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions

  1. Prep the sauce
Whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
  2. Cook the sausage
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add sausage and cook 4–5 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook the broccoli
In the same pan, add broccoli with a splash of water. Cover and steam-sauté 3–4 minutes until bright green and just tender. Remove and set aside.
  4. Cook the shrimp
Add butter and garlic to the skillet. Cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  5. Combine & glaze
Return sausage and broccoli to the pan. Pour in the sauce.
Simmer 2–3 minutes. If using the cornstarch slurry, stir it in and cook until sauce is glossy.
  6. Serve
Serve over rice, quinoa, or noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.

Tips & Variations

  • Add bell peppers or snap peas for extra color and crunch.
  • Swap broccoli for asparagus or green beans.
  • Make it spicier with extra red pepper flakes or a drizzle of sriracha.
  • For a low-carb version, serve over cauliflower rice instead of grains.

If you want, I can also give you a one-pan sheet skillet version that makes cleanup super easy.
