Yesss—honey garlic shrimp is fast, sticky, and absolutely addictive 🦐🍯
Here’s an easy, weeknight-friendly recipe that’s ready in about 15 minutes.

Ingredients (Serves 3–4)

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter

Honey garlic sauce:

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice or rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water (optional, for thicker sauce)

Garnish (optional):

  • Green onions
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Season the shrimp
    • Pat shrimp dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Make the sauce
    • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
  3. Cook the shrimp
    • Heat oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Add shrimp in a single layer and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and just cooked through. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. Add the sauce
    • Pour sauce into the same skillet. Let it simmer 1–2 minutes.
    • If you want it thicker, stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook another minute.
  5. Combine & finish
    • Return shrimp to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook 1 minute more.
  6. Serve
    • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve over rice, noodles, or with steamed veggies.

🔥 Tips & Variations

  • Add broccoli, snap peas, or bell peppers for a one-pan meal.
  • Swap honey for maple syrup if you’re out.
  • Want spicy? Add sriracha or extra red pepper flakes.

If you want, I can give you a honey garlic shrimp stir-fry, air fryer version, or honey garlic shrimp tacos 😏
