Here’s a cozy, creamy slow cooker ham situation that works great for leftovers or an easy dinner.

Creamy Slow Cooker Ham

Ingredients

  • 2–3 lbs ham (cubed or sliced; fully cooked works best)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup chicken broth or milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Optional: ½ cup shredded cheddar or Swiss

Optional add-ins

  • Mushrooms
  • Peas
  • Spinach (stir in at the end)
  • Dijon mustard (1–2 tsp for a savory kick)

Instructions

  1. Add ham to the slow cooker.
  2. Whisk soup, broth/milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. Pour over ham.
  3. Scatter cream cheese on top.
  4. Cook on Low 3–4 hours (ham just needs to heat through).
  5. Stir until creamy. Add shredded cheese if using and let it melt.

Serve it with

  • Egg noodles or rice
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Biscuits
  • Or turn it into a creamy ham pasta with rotini or penne

Extra cozy upgrade

  • Sprinkle with crispy breadcrumbs or crushed Ritz on top
  • Add a little nutmeg for a classic creamy-sauce vibe
  • Finish with parsley or green onions
