🥩 Ground Beef (Versatile & Flavorful)

Ground beef is a kitchen staple — perfect for quick meals, casseroles, tacos, burgers, or sauces. Cooking it properly keeps it juicy and flavorful.


🛒 Ingredients (For basic cooked ground beef)

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef (80/20 recommended for flavor)
  • 1 small onion, diced (optional)
  • 1–2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • Optional: paprika, chili powder, Italian seasoning

🔥 Stovetop Method

1️⃣ Preheat skillet

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

2️⃣ Cook onions/garlic (optional)

  • Sauté onion 2–3 minutes until translucent.
  • Add garlic for 30 seconds.

3️⃣ Brown the beef

  • Add ground beef. Break it up with a spatula or wooden spoon.
  • Cook 6–8 minutes until fully browned.

4️⃣ Drain excess fat

  • Use a spoon or pour off fat if needed.

5️⃣ Season

  • Add salt, pepper, and any optional spices. Stir well.

  • Use 80/20 beef for the best flavor; leaner beef may dry out.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan — cook in batches if necessary.
  • Cook fully until no pink remains.
