Greek salad

Here’s a fresh and classic Greek Salad recipe — crisp, tangy, and full of Mediterranean flavors. 🥗🇬🇷


Ingredients (serves 2–4)

  • 2 cups Romaine Lettuce or mixed greens, chopped (optional)
  • 2 medium Tomatoes, chopped or wedged
  • 1 Cucumber, sliced or diced
  • ½ Red Onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup Kalamata Olives, pitted
  • 100 g Feta Cheese, cubed or crumbled
  • 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Red Wine Vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • Salt & Black Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep vegetables
    • Chop tomatoes, cucumber, and lettuce. Thinly slice red onion.
  2. Assemble salad
    • In a bowl, combine vegetables and olives.
  3. Add cheese
    • Top with feta cheese cubes or crumbles.
  4. Dress the salad
    • Drizzle olive oil and red wine vinegar (or lemon juice).
    • Sprinkle oregano, salt, and pepper. Toss gently.
  5. Serve
    • Serve immediately as a side or light main dish with grilled meats or seafood.

Tips

  • For extra flavor, add capers, bell peppers, or a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
  • Keep the dressing simple — olive oil, vinegar, and oregano are classic.
  • Serve chilled for the freshest taste.
