Gluten-free peach cobbler

Posted on March 23, 2026 by Admin

Gluten-free peach cobbler is a delicious, comforting dessert with juicy peaches and a soft, slightly crisp topping—all without wheat flour. Perfect for summer or any time you crave a fruity treat!

🍑 Gluten-Free Peach Cobbler Recipe

Ingredients:

For the filling:

  • 5–6 fresh or canned peaches, peeled and sliced
  • ¼ cup sugar (adjust to sweetness of peaches)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cornstarch (optional, to thicken)

For the topping:

  • 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven:
    Preheat to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Prepare filling:
In a bowl, mix peaches with sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Spread evenly in a greased baking dish.
  3. Make topping:
In another bowl, combine gluten-free flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Assemble:
Spoon the topping over the peaches. You can leave some gaps so the fruit peeks through.
  5. Bake:
Bake for 30–35 minutes until the topping is golden and cooked through.
  6. Serve:
Serve warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.

🌟 Tips:

  • Use slightly under-ripe peaches—they hold shape better while baking.
  • For extra crunch, sprinkle a little sugar on top before baking.
  • Can substitute peaches with other fruits like blueberries, apples, or cherries.

I can also share a quick single-bowl gluten-free peach cobbler or a vegan version with coconut milk if you want.

Do you want me to give one of these variations?
