🍄 Garlic Mushrooms

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 2–3)

  • 250 g (8–9 oz) mushrooms (button, cremini, or your choice), cleaned and sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: 1 tsp fresh thyme or parsley, chopped
  • Optional: splash of white wine or lemon juice

1️⃣ Heat the Pan

  • Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

2️⃣ Sauté Garlic

  • Add minced garlic and cook 30–60 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

3️⃣ Cook Mushrooms

  1. Add sliced mushrooms to the pan.
  2. Sauté 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mushrooms are golden brown and tender.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, and optional herbs.
  4. Optional: add a splash of white wine or a squeeze of lemon juice for brightness.
